Cheryl began her service on the Board as a student representative, representing the UNE PA Program Class of 2002 and has remained on the Board since that time, currently in the position
of Vice President. She served DEAPA as a representative to the AAPA House of Delegates
for two two-year terms. Cheryl is the 2006 recipient of the Robert J. Lapham Outstanding
Service award and continues to serve on the CME Committee. She currently practices in
orthopedic surgery in Portland. Cheryl and her husband live in Freeport with their
two golden retrievers. She enjoys mentoring prospective PA students, allowing them
to shadow her and learn about the PA profession. She also is a preceptor for the
UNE PA Program. In her spare time, Cheryl enjoys golf, gardening, reading, taking
the dogs to run at the beach, and just being outdoors.
