This is Suzanne's second year as a DEAPA representative to the AAPA House of Delegates. Following graduation from Kettering College of Medical Arts in 2001 she moved to northern Maine
where she began work at Pines Health Care in Caribou. She moved to St. John Rural
Health Center a few months later. She travels throughout Aroostook County providing
care to improve the health status of Maine citizens. Her past activities include
working with students at the Loring Job Corps Center. She has unique skills that
help her connect with students and build the kind of relationships required when
treating and working with this population. In addition, she enjoys precepting PA
and NP students. In 2006, Suzanne received DEAPA's Outstanding Health Care
Professional award and the AAPA;s PA to the Underserved award. She enjoys
motorcycling, golfing, ice fishing, snowmobiling, and other outside activities.
