William Bisbee, PA-C

Dear Fellow DEAPA Members:

It is my pleasure to address you as your DEAPA President in this year of transition for our state professional organization. After more than 20 years of operation under the skilled watchful eye of our administrator Linda Roberts, the Downeast Association of Physician Assistants has turned its administrative duties over to our long time ally, the Maine Medical Association. Gordon Smith, Chief Executive Officer of MMA and a strong supporter of PAs in the State of Maine, offered to assume the administrative duties of DEAPA upon Lindašs retirement and, after approval by the Board of Directors, hired Kellie Miller to be the main contact person. Kellie comes to our organization with a strong background in administrative duties for several medical associations in the state and will be a great asset to DEAPA. I am confident that we will become a stronger organization with our association with MMA, and I encourage each of you to work with DEAPA and MMA in promoting our professional presence throughout the state. .....more
